I STRONGLY disagree with the parts failure comment. People ride harder at a higher level than we used too. Watch the old NSX series of videos. That BB was square taper. They don't even use that CRAP on road bikes anymore (sorry Campy!) I used to buy them 2 at a time, when I lived in Saskatchewan! Not exactly the drop capital of Canada.
OK d-bagbiker (and the rest of you noobs), lets get this straight... Heard of a V-10, VP-Free, Nomad, or Driver8. Hell the "Bullit" still in production was basically the bike that replaced the SUPER 8. Musta had like a 16in high BB. For the time it Kicked Anoos! If you want scary you should see the original Outland VPP. I STRONGLY disagree with the parts failure comment. People ride harder at a higher level than we used too. That BB was square taper. So.... Jow was the trip?
I took care of a guy who's a parapalegic and rides quads & snowmobiles out by Burns. He told me about this article and one of the builders. Very cool! Whenever my non-riding family say's "Why did you move to BC?!?" I send 'em a link to stuff like this. Got a buddy who moved to Winterpig who I would love to take on this trip. Already planning some camping for next year!
Saw it n person, very sweet!
You need a vehicle? Check out AutoTrader.ca before you come over to line somthing up. Breaks vehicles down by type and regions. If you want to see more of Canada, say Vancouver to Calgary, not just Whistler, look at an old camper. Accomodation and travel in one. They are brutal on fuel though. No need to pack and unpack for road trips either. Dude, your article/ plan makes me wish I was 20 again. About Us
